Konami has announced that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is due for a release on the PlayStation Vita this June.
While an exact release date has yet to be revealed, the publisher confirmed a "late" June launch period for the collection.
The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection has already seen a release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in Februrary, and the handheld version will implement a rebalanced user interface. Additionally, Kojima Productions' intriguing Transfarring system will make its debut, which allows players to share their data between the PS3 and Vita.
PSP title Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker won't be included, but in its place are Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2, as well as an upgraded version of both Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.
