Smartphones may be all the rage, but compared to Asia, our collection of mobile games is downright sad. Guess that means some folks might be grateful that Capcom is bringing their collection of mobile games westward.
Today, we're speficially referring to Marvel vs. Capcom 2, which will be hitting North America and Europe by way of Apple's App Store. The iOS version will include 56 playable characters and a "Variable System" that just sounds like a fancier term for "tag team." On iOS, this system also allows players to pull off "Team Hyper Combo" attacks using all three members on their team.
So... if you really love Marvel vs. Capcom and happen to own an iPhone or iPad, this is probably pretty good news. Expect this super compact version to arrive April 25. We're thinking the game will look a tad better when viewed on your phone than these screenshots suggest.
